EVALUATION OF GGE OF DIFFERENT PROCESS FOR DRYING ORANGE SLICES

Just because of burning fossil fuels and the fact that renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydraulic, geothermal, biomass, tidal, wave etc.) have not become widespread globally, many parallel environmental problems such as global warming, climate change carbon emissions been emerged. In present study, two different orange cultivars (Valencia Washington Navel) were dried under air-convective conditions (50, 55 60°C). Samples sliced three thickness 5, 7 9 mm, respectively. addition, drying time was selected for 8, 10 h, The effects a single unit air convective 1 kg product on greenhouse gas (GGE) types power plants (wind, solar, hydroelectric, geothermal) investigated. Present findings revealed while greatest GGE obtained from geothermal plant, lowest values wind plant. Besides, increasing CO2 encountered with sample thickness. Additionally, had decreasing trend at higher temperatures.
